House of Prayer

• We believe continuous intercession and prayer is the foundation of all effective Christian endeavors.
• Our goal is to establish a "House of Prayer" for the corporate "Body of Christ" in Brownsville and surrounding area.  To draw a community of believers from the many churches of our area to come together in one accord to minister to God through worship & prayer and to intercede for our city, area, nation & world.
• The first weekend of every month, we facilitate an intercessory worship gathering for a 24 hour period.  Christians from multiple churches and ministries come together to minister to God and to intercede for our families, churches, city, nation and world.
• We have periodic training regarding intercession & prayer among other needed topics.  The "School of the Spirit", which is held on Fridays, is one avenue for this training.


The Burn

• Every Saturday at 6:30 p.m., a gathering is held of mostly young believers to worship & pray together, minister together and break bread together.  It is an awesome time of connecting to God and connecting Christians to each other.  These meetings are always geared toward the younger generation and are totally run by young adults.  The worship bands who play are young adults and youth.  Churches are encouraged to send their bands to participate through a rotating schedule.   Food is always served and fellowship across church boundaries is encouraged. 
  
  

The Burn at UTB

• Prayer Furnace at UTB campus.  Periodic, strategic worship and prayer gatherings on the UTB campus.  This ministry is connected to the Saturday "Burn" meeting.  Totally run by young adults who have a passion for Jesus and desire His presence to permeate the lives of the students, teachers and staff at the University.  (For more information, contact Barnabus Lewis, under "Contacts".)


The Fireplace

• Multi-church young adult, small group meeting on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  This meeting is open to all young adults age 18 to 29.  We envision Christians from all denominations coming & connecting.

School of the Spirit

• Fridays at 7:00 p.m.  Various speakers and teachings related to intercession, revival, miracles, healing, hosting the presence of God in our lives, spiritual authority and dominion, spiritual warfare and prophecy, and occasional healing services.  This meeting open to all age groups.
