Our primary vision is to facilitate 24/7 intercessory worship that is fueled by his presence (Psalm 22:3). Our goal is to establish a 24/7 House of Prayer for our region, that will involve participation of local churches, ministries, worship bands, intercessors and passionate Christians. We want the presence of God to permeate our region, churches, homes, businesses and the entirety of our daily living. We believe as this vision becomes increasingly a reality, the spiritual atmosphere over our region will change, unity across church and denominational boundaries will occur and the corporate Christian church will benefit as the Kingdom of God is increased through salvation, miracles, signs and wonders.
Burning Man Ministries is about connecting people to Christ, connecting newly “born again” Christians to the Church and doing our part in facilitating unity in the body of Christ. Because we are not a local church building membership, our role is building up the body of Christ in the churches of our local region. It is therefore the desire of this ministry to have a balanced representation from multiple churches attend and involved in this “body of Christ” endeavor.
Our Name
The “Burning Man” name refers to the “anointed ones”, male and female, sent forth by Jesus to “preach the gospel to the poor,… bind up the broken hearted,… and to proclaim liberty to the captives…etc. (see Isa 61). Each year, a pagan festival, referred to as “Burning Man”, is held in the desert to celebrate the rebellious spirit of fallen humanity. Burning Man Ministries is a prophetic declaration of the real “burning man”, sent forth into the world to declare the superiority of God and His ways. This declaration is demonstrated by those clothed in the love and power of the original burning man, Jesus Christ. The “Ministries” portion of the name refers to the various destinies/callings coming forth from the body of Christ of all who enter our doors and answer the call of God on their lives.
